Dirk Niepoort vorgestellt und bewertet. Der
COCHE BRANCO 2017 aus dem
Douro, eine
Cuvée aus
Rabigato,
Códega do Larinho,
Arinto und anderen, wurde mit stolzen 94/100 Punkten hervorragend bewertet, zu ihm schreibt der Verkoster nachfolgend im Original:
„The 2017 Coche is a field blend from old vines featuring Rabigato, Códega do Larinho, ARinto and others. It aged for 12 months in 50 % new French barriques and five months in stainless steel. It comes in at 13 % alcohol. In bottle for about six months, this is elegant and a little impacted by wood, but that will change. Fresh, long on the finish and very refined, this is another superb Coche. It won't hit you over the head - it is all about grace and finesse. This will hold at least 20 years, probably a lot more. We'll take it in stages. Niepoort likes this even better than his 2016. At the moment, I'd call the 2016 slightly better. We'll see as they age - they are both very oung and very terrific - but let's be a little cautious now.”
