„Produced by a well-known Spanish wine personality, Carlos Falcó, the Marques de Grinon's 1997 Emeritus exhibits a dark ruby/purple color as well as ripe aromas of blackberries, cassis and vanillin. A touch of herbs marks an appearance in the flavors of this fleshy, supple-textured effort. The acidity, tannin, and wood are all well-integrated. While not complex, this is a juicy, succulent wine to enjoy over the next 4-5 years.”
