„The 2008 Charme is an old vines (70+ years) blend of
Tinta Roriz,
Touriga Franca und other typical grapes, aged in French oak for 16 months. Light in color, a bit funky and a bit soft on opening, with little intensity and a modest overlay of oak, this seems a couple of steps behind the lovely '07, but it does begin to show better with some air and actually becomes quite graceful and elegant, with ripe tannins surrounding in the modest mid-palate. There were 9,500 bottles produced. Drink now-2019.”
