87/100 Punkten – einmal mehr eine gute Bewertung für João Portugal Ramos und seinen MARQUÊS DE BORBA BRANCO 2015, einer Cuvée aus Arinto, Antão Vaz, Verdelho und Viognier aus dem portugiesischen Alentejo. Die nur zahlenden Abonnenten von Robert Parkers »The Wine Advocate« zugängliche Verkostungsnotiz von Mark Squires laute wie folgt:
„The 2015 Branco (Marquês de Borba) is a roughly equal blend of Arinto, Verdelho and Antão Vaz, with 10% Viognier filling out the blend. It is unoaked and comes in at 7 grams per liter of residual sugar. It really doesn't seem sweet, though. It is perhaps a touch fruitybut nicely balanced, tasty, lively and very pleasing. It may not have a lot of zing and zest, but it probably has more concentration and nicer fruit than last year's version. Overall, this is a very nice value that should provide good drinking in warm weather. Drink it young for best results, though.”
