Niepoort wieder hohe Bewertungen erhalten. So wurde Niepoorts
2015er CONCISO TINTO 2015 mit stolzen 92/100 Punkten von Verkoster Mark Squires bewertet. Die >Cuvée[Glossar][124] aus dem
Dão, erzeugt aus den Rebsorten
Baga,
Jaén und anderen, wird auf der
Quinta de Baixo produziert. Ab dem Jahrgang 2017 werden die Weine von Quinta de Baixo aus dem Dão unter dem Weingutsnamen
Quinta da Lomba vermarktet. Mark Squires schreibt nachfolgend im Original:
„The 2015 Tinto Conciso is a blend of Baga (40%), Jaen (30%) and various others (30%), aged for 20 months in used 2,000-liter fuders. This is a classic Dão, fresh, flavorful and elegant in this vintage. Showing fine tension and moderate tannins on the finish, this finishes with plums and cherries, dry and focused. The cherries give way to beef, and this has a surprisingly meaty nose on opening. This is very precise and it lingers nicely, the best red that I've seen yet from Niepoort's operation in this region. It will drink reasonably well young and hold well, too. You can approach it now if you wish, but a year or two in the cellar will help a lot.”
