Compañía de Vinos del Atlántico aus der spanischen Region
Cádiz mit sehr guten 16,5/20 Punkten. Nachfolgend schreibt sie im Original über den rebsortenreinen Roten, zu 100 % aus der
Tintilla-de-Rota-Rebsorte (lokales Synonym für
Graciano) erzeugt:
„Name means thumb and stick. Planted at 60 m above the Atlantic in Andalucia in 1993. The plant material was sourced from Gonzalez Byass (who also produce a fine Tintilla, the local name for Graciano here). Aged for 12 months (30 % in oak, the rest in concrete) and then for eight months in barriques. Quite rich and sweet. Good balance and good freshness (Atlantic air?). The fruit was apparently picked relatively early.”
