94 Punkte für Monte da Ravasqueiras' VINHA DAS ROMÃS 2014 27.11.2017
In der aktuellen Ausgabe 2017 des renommierten und bekannten Weinmagazins »Wine Enthusiast« wurde der VINHA DAS ROMÃS 2014 von Monte da Ravasqueira mit satten 94/100 Punkten bewertet. Darüber hinaus wurde er auf den 1. Platz der Kategorie „Weine Portugals” gewählt und auf den 24. Platz auf der Liste „100 Beste Weine der Welt”. Über die rote Cuvée, erzeugt aus den Rebsorten Touriga Franca und Syrah, aus der Vinho Regional Alentejano schreibt Juror Roger Voss nachfolgend im Original:
„This single-vineyard wine is richly structured and seriously impressive, coming from a parcel planted with Syrah and Touriga Franca. Wood aging for 20 months has given the wine both spice and concentration. With the acidity and the firm tannins at the end, the wine will be ready to drink, from 2019.”
