Robert Parker verkostet und bewertet für seine renommierte Wein-Zeitschrift »The Wine Advocate« regelmäßig Weine aus aller Welt, darunter natürlich auch Weine aus Spanien. Den ›Clos Fontà Tinto 2005‹ von Viticultors Mas d' en Gil aus dem D.O.C. Priorato bewertet er mit 93/100 Punkten. Nachfolgend im Original die Degustationsnotiz von Jay Miller:
„The 2005 Clos Fonta a blend of Garnacha and Carinena aged for 18 months in French oak, is a glass-coating opaque purple color accompanied by a fragrant nose of slate/mineral, licorice, espresso, incense, a hint of balsamic, black cherry, and black plum. Rich, dense, and loaded in the mouth, it displays enough structure to evolve for 4-5 years and will deliver prime drinking from 2015 to 2022, if not longer.”
