Dinner with Dirk Niepoort 22.05.2002

Opaque red/purple colour. Very rich spicy herby nose is complex with tarry, liquoricey notes. The palate is extremely rich and concentrated, with firm tannins and spicy complexity. Wonderful stuff with real character. Sensationally good. Excellent.
