In der Ausgabe 235/2018 des renommierten »
The Wine Advocate« hat der
VIVANCO RESERVA 2011 von
Vivanco stolze 91/100 Punkten von Verkoster Luis Gutiérrez erhalten. Über den
Reserva aus der
D.O.C. Rioja, eine
Cuvée aus den Rebsorten
Tempranillo und
Graciano, schreibt er nachfolgend im Original:
„The 2011 Reserva wants to be more modern, with more fruit but a long aging in barrique. It's Tempranillo with 10% Graciano from vineyards in Briones, fermented separately in small oak vats and matured in new and second use barriques for 24 months. It feels very young and lively (in fact, they are going to keep the 2012 in bottle for one more year), with a bright ruby color and a subtle and clean nose, with subtle perfume and balsamic aromas of cigar ash and incense. It has great balance and a clean palate, focused and gentle with a very Rioja profile. It feels like there is a big jump from the Crianza to the complexity of this Reserva. This is delicious right now. 176,000 bottles produced.”
