In Ausgabe 227 vom 28. Oktober schreibt Spanien-Spezialist Luis Gutiérrez über die rote Cuvée aus Garnacha Tinta und Cariñena aus der D.O.C. Priorato:

„The 2011 Clos Fontà is a blend of different strains of Garnacha with some 30% Cariñena fermented in small oak vats by plot and matured in 225-liter barriques and 1,500-liter oak vats for some 14 months. These top wines are kept in bottle for three years before they are sold, and by that time the wines are polished, especially in the texture. There is a jump in complexity and depth from the Coma Vella from the same vintage, and the nose screams Priorat, with those notes of wet slate and some rusticity from the Cariñena. With time in the glass it also developed some floral aromas. The palate is powerful but very balanced and fresh, especially for the conditions of the vintage. I could also preview the 2014, which had just been bottled, and was showing superbly elegant.”
