In der Dezember-Ausgabe 2015 des renommierten »
The Wine Advocate« haben die Weine von
Quinta do Pinto wieder sehr gute Bewertungen erhalten. So hat Quinta do Pintos 2014er ›
Quinta do Pinto Estate Collection Branco‹ 89/100 Punkten von Verkoster Mark Squires erhalten. Über die weiße
Cuvée aus
Lisboa, erzeugt aus den Rebsorten
Viognier,
Arinto,
Fernão Pires und
Antão Vaz, schreibt er nachfolgend im Original:
„The 2014 Branco Estate Collection is an unoaked blend of 30 % Arinto, 35 % Viognier, 25 % Fernão Pires and 10 % Antão Vanz. It comes in at 13,5 % alcohol. Another well-priced Branco from Quinta do Pinto, this goes down the middle compared to some of its siblings reviewed this issue. It has a livelier feel than the Anjo Branco while retaining nice substance and concentration- but not as much as the monovarietal Antão Vaz, also reviewed. Perky, with just some hints of grass, it is a fresh white that has tension on the finish and good flavor. It is closest in the lineup to the Lasso Branco. Although that probably wins the ‚perky’ competition.”
