ruby. Inviting, slightly, high-toned aromas of cassis, black cherry, violet, cardamon, star anise, licorice and mint. Penetrating and aromatic in the mouth, with floral high notes Lifting the Primary, intense blackberry flavor. Offers a lush texture but also terrific Definition and grip. Very silky, concentrated port with outstanding energy and a light touch for the vintage (not to mention for its 20 % alcohol). Lay this one down. From vines more than 100 years of Age, according to Burgundy fanatic Dirk Niepoort, who prefers this vintage to his 2007.”
