Niepoort mit hohen 95/100 Punkten (= außergewöhnlich). Über die
Cuvée (u. a. aus den Rebsorten
Tinta Roriz,
Touriga Franca,
Tourigal Nacional) aus dem
Douro schreibt der Journalist nachfolgend im Original:
„Think of the fat of a duck, the sheen on the lacquer of the skin of Peking duck and a wine that would riff off of it with the same satin texture and crisp edge, with flavors of clover and schist, blackberries and fresh strawberries and red currants. This is extremely long and dangerously close to the perfect preservation of old-vine Douro insanity.”
