Tinta Roriz,
Touriga Franca und anderen Rebsorten) aus Portugals
D.O.C. Douro liest sich im Original wie folgt:
„Charme is a selection from ancient mixed-vineyards – the vines 80 to more than 100 years old – in what amounts to a Grand Cru of the Douro. Luis Seabra makes the wine in Pinhão, where it is foot trod in round stone lagars with all the stems. It finishes fermentation in French oak barrels and the ages for 16 months before bottling without fining or filtration. Yet the process doesn't fully describe how this wine came to be, something that can only be known by the vines as they coasted through the remarkable 2008 season. The wine has the scent of pressed flowers and wild strawberries that's completely married tinto the Douro tannins, where it keeps yielding dynamic, zesty, mouthwatering flavors with the utmost delicacy and finesse. This is a classical Douro wine in a style that has never appeared from the region before. Extraordinary.”
