„Dark red. Strong oak spice and vanilla currently overshadow dark cherry, graphite and bitter chocolate. Very rich in cherry, cassis and chocolate flavors but the powerful oakiness here dries the wine today. Finishes with good length, but the strong, dry oak tannins get in the way of the fruit. Will this absorb the wood? (Martine's Wines, Novato, CA)“
